As the days are at their longest and the growing season is in full swing, it is that time of year where our attention turns to the annual Flower and Veg Show. It is incredible to think that this is the 171st time a show has been held by the Society.

With a wet Spring and then the dry heat of the last few weeks, who knows what weather we will have in the lead up to the Show. But we know gardeners - novice and expert alike - will rise to the challenge and hopefully have fun in getting entries ready for the 'big day' on 26th August.
The event is open to members and non-members alike, and with 126 classes there really is something for everyone. Also it isnt just flowers, shrubs and veg. There are classes for children as well baking, perserves, honey, handicrafts and photography.
So please take a look at the show schedule (linked at the bottom of this page) and see what you fancy entering this year. Also there are members on-hand if this is your first time and would like guidance on how to prepare your entry. Please just see the show schedule and send us a note via the website contact form. And someone will get back to help you.
To indicate you want to enter you need to complete the show entry form (at the back of the show schedule) by beginning of August. Good luck!
