Visit to Snowdrop Gardens - Thurs 22nd Feb


Joins us on a visit to the snowdrop gardens at Kilbryde Castle.The gardens cover around 12 acres and are situated above the Ardoch Burn and below the castle. They are split into three parts, formal, woodland and wild. Glorious spring bulbs abound in Spring.

We then continue to The Smiddy near Blairdrummond for lunch before travelling on to Gargunnock Gardens, which always offers lots to see whatever the time of the year.

In February the gardens and grounds are awash with snowdrops and these are soon followed by banks of daffodils. Miss Viola Stirling the last proprietor of the house left notes saying she planted 96 varieties of daffodils throughout the grounds.
